Our program is designed for people living with neurological disease and their loved ones who
care for them. Our mission is to give caregivers of those with neurological deficits a chance to
breathe by providing respite care. Our program includes a one-hour home evaluation by a
physical or occupational therapist to determine your needs and therapy options if needed, plus
an opportunity to be cared for by highly skilled and trained Right at Home care professionals.

A Stinson Neurology Foundation Grant makes it possible for loved ones to rejuvenate during
their season of caregiving. We want to provide you peace of mind, knowing your loved one is well cared for while you are away.
Eligibility
To qualify for a Stinson Neurology Foundation Grant, the recipient must be living with
neurological deficits must be professionally diagnosed by a physician and fit within the
following criteria:
SNF Respite Grant
Our grant is a one-time grant of 48 hours of respite care to be used within 12 weeks of being
awarded. Each care session will be 4 hours or more and can be used as needed and when staff
is available. The grant is designed to provide caregivers with an opportunity for self-care and
rejuvenation. Upon completion of this grant, applicants are able to reapply for another grant if
needed and qualifications are met.
How to Apply
Simply fill out the application (linked at the bottom of this page) and submit it. Each application is reviewed by our board on a monthly basis. The board decides which candidates have been chosen.
Be prepared to:
After you have applied, you will be contacted by phone to set up an in-home therapy evaluation
to determine needs, plan of care essentials, and on-site interview.
If chosen for the grant, you will be notified by email, and upon acceptance, your 12-week grant
period will begin. All applicants will be notified of their status regardless of acceptance. This
process may take 30-90 days, so please be patient.
